How We Handle Your Information
Last updated October 20, 2026. This page explains what Arboretum (320 Laskin Road, Virginia Beach, VA 23451) collects through arboretumvb.com and how it is used. Questions? Email [email protected] or call (757) 271-6591.
Inquiry form
When you send an inquiry we receive the details you enter: name, email, phone (optional), type of event, preferred date, estimated guest count and your message. We email these to our team and use them only to reply to you and plan your event. We do not sell your information or share it for advertising. We keep inquiries as long as needed to respond and manage your booking, and you can ask us to delete yours at any time.
Cookies and analytics
Google Analytics (GA4). We use Google Analytics to understand which pages are visited and whether inquiries are submitted. Before you choose, it runs without cookies: Google receives basic, anonymous usage pings (such as the page viewed, approximate location and device or browser information, and your IP address) and may use them for modeled reporting. If you click Accept, it also sets cookies (_ga and _ga_*) to recognize repeat visits. If you click Decline, no analytics cookies are set. When you submit the inquiry form we record that a form was submitted along with the event type you picked. We never send your name, email or message to Google Analytics.
You can change your mind at any time: open cookie settings. Declining removes the Analytics cookies. You can also block them in your browser or use Google’s opt-out add-on.
Your choice is stored in your browser (local storage) so we don’t ask on every page. It never leaves your device.
Security and fonts
Google reCAPTCHA. To block spam, the inquiry form uses reCAPTCHA v3, loaded when you begin filling out the form. It checks how your browser behaves, may set cookies, and sends that data to Google. This is necessary to protect the form, so it is not controlled by the cookie banner. Google’s Privacy Policy and Terms of Service apply.
Google Fonts. Pages load the Montserrat typeface from Google Fonts, which means your IP address is sent to Google when a page loads.
Your choices
You may ask what we hold about you, or ask us to correct or delete it, by contacting us above. Residents of some states have additional rights under local privacy laws; we will honor those requests. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Changes
If this policy changes we will update the date at the top of this page.
